LP02 The Emerging Innovative Leader, Dr. Darrell Parsons, DSL- SPRING 2021
Leadership and innovation existed in the mind of God long before the first thought of it came to man and is as old as time itself. In the newly innovated Garden of Eden, the man, Adam, was created and instructed by the Lord to provide leadership to all the earth. Becoming an innovative leader is a process that requires certain skillsets. This course is designed to identify 12 skillsets or competencies of becoming an innovative leader. 15 weeks.
LP03 Leadership & Transition, Dr. Gerald Doggett - SUMMER 2021
In the perpetual transitions of life, navigation can become challenging. Leadership & Transition will provide wisdom and skills to maintain confidence through cloudy days when the vision gets fuzzy. From developing a master strategy to implementing that strategy, even learning to manage change, the student will understand the transitional journey and experience exceptional results. 15 weeks.
LP04 Going Beyond through Discipleship and Prayer, Pastor Ray Petty, M.Div. - FALL 2021
In this course, we will examine the difference between being a disciple and discipleship (disciple-maker). We will not only establish the ingredients, character, and make-up of a disciple, we will also look closely at how Jesus called, developed, and deployed disciples. This course will establish three ingredients: First of all, identifying ourselves as disciples. What makes a disciple, a disciple of Jesus? Second, cultivating a vision for disciple making, a clear picture of the mandate and call of Jesus to make disciples. Third, we will seek to develop a discipleship-making ministry within the local church or among committed believers (this would include small groups or house church setting). 15 weeks.
LP05 The Ministry of Reconciliation, Dr. Gerald Doggett, Dr. Mark Scrivener & Pastor Ray Petty - SPRING 2022
Team teaching at its best is offered in this course. Over 140 years of combined ministry experience takes the student on a meaningful journey into the ministry of reconciliation. All believers are called to this ministry. This class is not just for the "Moses" or leader of the ministry but for the "Aarons and Hurs" that are called to hold up the arms of the minister. Reconciliation begins at salvation but continues through the life of the believer. The student will come away with encouragement, a sharpened skill set, and transformational wisdom to move into fresh dimensions of God's grace for times like these. Offering several panel discussions will expand each student's capacity for ministry excellence. This course will provide the student with confidence in decision-making for the complex challenges of ministry and manage tough challenges that threaten successful ministry. 15 weeks.
LS06 Leadership & Destiny, Dr. Gerald Doggett - FALL 2022
