Q: Are the classes recorded?
A: Yes, each class will be taught LIVE through our learning management software and then recorded for later viewing.
Q: How long is each class?
A: Each class is 15 weeks/sessions for an estimated 90 minutes of content.
Q: What equipment do I need to take courses through DLI?
A: You will need a computer with an internet connection, email address, and the required textbooks.
Q: What is the class format?
A: The class format is approximately 75 minutes of lecture and discussion for one time per week for 15 weeks. Class is a lecture format with questions reserved to the end.
Q: Can I enroll for DLI at any time?
A: Yes, you can enroll at any time. At that point, you would have two options as to when you start. 1) You could start as soon as you enroll and catch up to the current class by watching recorded sessions OR 2) You could wait until the next class starts. Checking our calendar will help you make your decision.
Q: Are these college classes?
A: DLI classes are college classes designed with 15 contact hours and 45 outside class hours for homework. College credit is available through our partner Faith Christian University located in Orlando, FL.
Q: How do I register for classes?
A: Fill out the DLI Application for Enrollment. After completing your application, you will receive an acceptance email giving you further instructions.

Q: How do we access the classes?
A: DLI utilizes a learning management software suite known as Canvas. After registering for DLI classes, you will be sent a link to access Canvas where you will set up a profile. Through your online Canvas profile, you will have access to all of your registered DLI classes, your grades, turn in homework, access any notes or slides for the lecture, review any videos, communicate with your professors, and more.
Q: Do I have to be a minister to take classes at DLI?
A: No, you don’t have to be a minister. It is our hope that we always have a diverse student population to bring different viewpoints and goals.
Q: I haven’t been in school for years. Will I be able to do this?
A: Yes! Our professors are flexible to provide assistance throughout the program. The courses focus on writing, research, and practical application.
Q: What payments does DLI accept?
A: We use PayPal to protect your personal credit information. Payment for classes or any purchase can be processed through PayPal for Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Discover. You do not have to have a PayPal account when using credit cards. If you should choose to use your bank account for any payment, you will need to set up an account and link your secure bank information to PayPal.
Q: Is PayPal secure and safe to use?

Q: What if I miss a scheduled nightly class?
A: Recorded classes will be available online. They will show up in your Canvas profile.
Q: What if I have a question for my professor?
A: Please email your professors through your canvas profile and you should receive a prompt response.
Q: Can I get a refund for classes I am unable to attend?
A: The classes are sold as a bundle of five courses. If you drop out of one course, you can pick up the next course. If you need to completely withdraw from the program, a pro-rated refund is available.
Q: How can I receive college credit from these classes?
A: DLI serves as an educational partner with Faith Christian University (www.fcu.edu). In order to transfer all 10 classes, FCU will credit you with 30 hours toward a degree; there will be a fee charged by FCU to make that transfer.
Q: Does DLI offer ministerial licensing?
A: DLI offers ministerial licensing on an individual basis. If you are interested, you can make application for licensing; once your application is accepted. All students have to attend and pass the Ministerial Training and Care and one certification of completion of a five course bundle to be eligible for ordination.
Q: Does DLI offer ministerial ordination?
A: DLI offers ministerial licensing. If you are interested in ordination, you would need to join our Covenant Network to establish a mentoring relationship with Bishop Doggett and pursue ordination through that venue on an individual basis. Covenant Network is an organization to provide ministerial accountability and guidance that is renewed on an annual basis as long as ordination is sought.
Q: Does DLI offer a referral fee?
A: DLI does not offer a referral fee, but we are grateful when you share your success with others.
Q: Are books included in the tuition costs?
A: All books for DLI classes must be purchased separately for the class from various sources.
Q: Does DLI qualify for the GI-bill for course payment?
A: At this time, DLI is has not yet undergone the process to be included in the Yellow Ribbon Program. We hope to in the near future.
Q: Are there any prerequisites a student must take before enrolling in DLI?
A: There are no prerequisites for taking classes with DLI.
Q: Are there any scholarships available for enrolling in DLI?
A: We are establishing a scholarship fund for those needing assistance with enrollment fees.

Q: How long will it take me to earn theDLI Diploma of Exemplary Leadership?
A: Each 90-minute class is 15 weeks long. There are 5 classes for the
Certificate of Leadership Principles which is designed to be earned in
18 months (Fall 2020-Spring 2022). The Certificate of Leadership Strategies
consists of 5 classes taught for 90-minutes over 15 weeks; it is designed
to be completed in 18 months (Fall 2022-Spring 2024). At that time, the
DLI Diploma for Exemplary Leadership will be earned; it is designed to be
completed in 3 years.
